UPLIFT YOUTH ORGANISATION (UYO) is a charitable, not-for-profit, community-based organisation (CBO). We are a non-political CBO dedicated to advocating for the rights and economic empowerment of youth while providing services that promote holistic development for young people and their communities. UYO was formally established as a youth empowerment initiative and is registered as a youth-serving agency with the Kanungu District Local Government in 2018. UYO was founded by Mr. Twinamasiko Vicent and Ms. Kyomukama Edivinah , who used her interpersonal and team-building skills to form a committed working group. Together, they promote the ideals of this initiative, aiming to transform the lives of youth by instilling a spirit of personal and community development. Through collective action, UYO works to improve the socio-economic conditions of young people, helping them become self-reliant contributors to national development.
